The local currency is the Canadian dollar and cents. Foreign currencies can be changed either in banks or with a money changer in the city. The hotel may provide limited currency exchange.

Use the "CASH RATE" to see what your bank or credit card company will charge you. Note that they may add additional service fees and other charges that may alter this rate.
Credit Cards
Major credit and charge cards such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Diners, are widely accepted at most establishments.
Debit Cards
Debit cards using the INTERAC system are widely accepted for cash transactions.
