FEATURED WORKSHOP - EMC for Functional Safety

This workshop is presented by Keith Armstrong of Cherry Clough Consultants and Bill Radasky of Metatech Corporation.

Engineers and Project Managers all over the world are unaware of the functional safety risks (and corresponding financial risks) resulting from relying solely on EMC testing.

It is trivial to show that affordable EMC testing is TOTALLY INADEQUATE, no matter how high the test levels are cranked up.

The 2009 PSES Conference will continue the discussion begun in Austin, 2008, with a second workshop on “How to do EMC for Functional Safety” covering...

  • Standardisation in EMC for Functional Safety
  • Design and System Integration techniques
  • Verification/Validation techniques, including testing
  • Maintenance, Repairs, Refurbishments, Modifications and Upgrades
